Metronome Software built the Meterly app as a freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Metronome Software and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Registering information

When you register an account with Meterly, we collect the personal information that you provide us.

Push Notifications

We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the App. If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

The app uses third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

SMS Text Messages

When you book a ride through our online booking service and consent to receive SMS updates, we send transactional text messages to the phone number you provide. These messages include:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Booking reminders (up to two per booking)
  • Driver status updates (on the way, arrived)
  • Booking cancellation notices

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 6 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will not receive further SMS messages. Reply HELP for assistance.

We use Twilio to deliver SMS messages. Your phone number is shared with Twilio solely for message delivery. Twilio's privacy policy can be found on the Twilio privacy page.

Firebase

Meterly uses Firestore (a service of Firebase) as a database to store user app data. Firebase's privacy and security information can be found on the Firebase privacy page.

RevenueCat

Meterly uses RevenueCat for subscription management. Their privacy policy can be found on the RevenueCat privacy page.

Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you allows us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

  • Generate a personal profile about you to make future visits to the App more personalized.
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the App.
  • Notify you of updates to the App or Site.
  • Request feedback and contact you about your use of the App.
  • Improve our website and product based on your feedback.
  • Periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, configuration of the app when utilising our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

  • To facilitate our Service;
  • To provide the Service on our behalf;

  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

Children's Privacy

This Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take the necessary actions.
